I can't recommend Tanya highly enough. A friend of mine was buying a house at the same time as me--similar circumstances, but with a different agency--and her experience was so frustrating compared to mine. It really underscored the value of having an agent who will go the extra mile.
Our process was not straightforward. We were inexperienced and had not done our pre-approval work when we found that perfect house. Tanya started by explaining all the reasons we shouldn't get our hopes too high, because all these things could prevent our getting this house. Then she proceeded to blast through every obstacle. Both she and the lenders she recommended made us feel like we had a whole team working for us. The inspectors she recommended were prompt and thorough. Tanya herself is super easy to communicate with and responded quickly every time I had a concern or needed an explanation.
I'm so grateful we had Tanya's advice for what repairs to push for vs. what we could take care of ourselves. We didn't have the confidence and certainly not the knowledge to negotiate--and she did.

About Tanya Brieger
I have lived in the Greater Jackson area most of my life, and graduated high school from McCluer Academy. Later, I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Belhaven College, and then went on to earn a Master of Business Administration degree from Millsaps College.I come from a real estate family! As a teenager I worked during the summers for my grandfather in the land development business. Several of my uncles also worked in her grandfather’s business; and after the business was sold they continued in real estate as a realtor and recently real estate appraisers.
Prior to beginning my own real estate career in 2014,I was the director of enrollment services for the adult degree program of a local private college for over 10 years with the Institute of Professional Development. Prior to my career in higher education, I was in telecommunications for over 20 years working in customer service, sales and marketing. It was during this time, I also served as an adjunct professor for Belhaven College, teaching marketing and business communications and was named one of Mississippi's Leading Business Women.
My specialization is in working with buyers and sellers in the Greater Jackson area in residential sales. I have obtained the Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES®) ; Seller Representative Specialist (SRS℠)and Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR®)designations in an effort to better serve these important segments of the market.
